CRW 6096 | After we embarked on the smaller boat and headed up the Lesser Gorges, we found this sign. The "175" refers to the high water mark in meters. During the summer, when we were there, the water level is maintained at 145 meters above sea level. In winter, it is raised to 175 meters - about 100 feet - to control flooding. This sign points out the high water level, which makes the house "beach front property" in winter. | |
